Our “Shrinking” World for Alzheimer’s Information & Friendships
Isn’t is fascinating that people can work together from all parts of the globe these days whether it’s to exchange views on a topic, collaborate on research, give encouragement, provide news, or simply chat? This has become such a “shrinking” world as far as people forming business and personal friendships and collaborating on research and news about diseases such as Alzheimer’s.
As others have said, “Dementia [Alzheimer’s] is a disease that knows no boundaries.” It encompasses all nationalities, all races, all economic levels, all cultures, all lifestyles, male and female, generally the older people, but younger [early onset], too.
With access to the world through the Internet, we realize more than ever we’re not alone dealing with this disease. And writers from opposite sides of the globe can get together, via the Internet, and write about Alzheimer’s, as Liz and I do.
We’d enjoy having you share your experiences and thoughts about Alzheimer’s and caregiving…from wherever you are around the world.
