And it’s since famous people, like Ronald Reagan and his family, have spoken out about Alzheimer’s that we find more resources. Families are “coming out of the closet” and are willing to admit that someone they love has this disease…a different attitude than when my mom and aunt first were afflicted. That attitude made it difficult to find help and encouragement.
