Children and Alzheimer’s Disease…

Remember last month’s post about Leah Garfiitt, a six year old child with Neimann-Pick Type C disease, otherwise known as childhood Alzheimer’s.

Well, I just posted Children Can Get Alzheimer’s Too over at Healthbolt about another child, Gabrielle LaVerde, who is also suffering from this heartbreaking disease.

Thanks for including Gabrielle in your blog. I design the videos and website for her mother. We just finished a wonderful fund raising dinner held by Gabrielle’s elementary school. Afterwhich we learned that her school mates have raised over $10,000 for their friend, in just a few months. We are all so proud of the students, parents and teachers of Deltona Lakes Elementary school. Please visit our videos for more information about these little heroes that are inspiring our community.
