Alzheimer’s Word of the Week
Over at One Book Two Book, my co-blogger, Marcie, posts a word of the week and a quote of the week. Since Alzheimer’s terms sometimes aren’t understood by everyone, I thought I’d begin this practice here.
Dementia - This is a broad general term given to someone who experiences memory impairment severe enough that it affects or interferes with daily functioning. Dementia has a variety of causes and isn’t always caused by Alzheimer’s.
