Alzheimer’s Foundation Offers The Brodsky Grant for Innovative Service.

For the fourth year running, the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America are looking to award The Brodsky Grant for an innovative program or service that ‘improves the lives of those affected by Alzheimer’s Disease.

“The Brodsky Grant recognizes stellar organizations that have the insight, dedication and skills to raise the bar on dementia care. They set the standard for others to follow,” said Eric J. Hall, AFA’s president and chief executive officer. (PR Newswire

Previous recipients include…

The Kennedy Center in Trumbull, CT, a rehabilitation agency which supports adults and children with disabilities, to produce and distribute a documentary about individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and Down syndrome.

The Eden Alternative in Sherburne, NY, to develop meaningful care tools that nurture the human spirit of individuals
with dementia and their care partners in the home and community-care environment.

Senior Care in Brevard, Cocoa, FL, to strengthen its multi-tiered support and education program for family caregivers, which includes a peer support and stress management relief network, counseling, legal and financial advice, and a resource and
service guide.
