Alzheimer’s Notes

Alzheimer’s Aid in the UK

by Mary Emma Allen on August 6th, 2006

Even though I live in the United States and have sought the resources I needed for Mother and Auntie through agencies located here, I realize Alzheimer’s is a world wide disease.  Caregivers around the globe are seeking information and encouragement.

One of the organizations I’ve discovered is the Alzheimer’s Society in the United Kingdom (http://www.alzheimers.org.uk ).  If you live in those countries, you may find helpful information through this web site.

Much of the information about Alzheimer’s and dementia and encouragement for caregivers is universal.  However, some of the resources will be different. Do let me know what’s available in your country or what I can do to help you research.
