Often referred to as “childhood Alzheimer’s,” Niemann-Pick disease, type C affects children and can cause extreme memory loss. Seven-year old Mitchell Harrower is one of 500 in the world diagnosed with this disease where memory becomes increasingly and rapidly less and less.
